Jubilant Bhartia Foundation — an 11-year education partnership
Multi-module platforms spanning youth education, livelihood training and TB-awareness IVRS — Indev's longest-running foundation partnership, now in its 11th year.
The challenge
JBF runs flagship programmes across education, livelihood and public health in some of India's most challenging districts. Each programme had its own legacy MIS, none of them talked to each other, and reporting to the JBF board required weeks of Excel reconciliation. JBF needed a single platform spine — strong enough to add new programmes without re-engineering — and an IVRS arm to reach learners who don't have smartphones.
Our approach
Indev has co-built JBF's digital backbone since 2014. The current generation is a modular platform — shared identity, shared geography, shared reporting — onto which each programme plugs its own learning, attendance and assessment modules. A multilingual IVRS layer handles TB awareness outreach to communities outside the smartphone-internet envelope.
Technology stack
- Modular MIS (React + Node + PostgreSQL)
- Multilingual IVRS (Hindi, Marathi, Assamese)
- Programme-level role-based dashboards
- Board-grade auto-rolled reporting
- Mobile attendance + assessment capture
Impact in the field
What started as a single education MIS in 2014 is now JBF's programme operating system. Board-level reporting that once took two weeks now runs from the dashboard. New programmes can be onboarded in weeks rather than quarters because they inherit the shared spine.
