Indev Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. ("Indev", "we", "us", "our") operates www.indevconsultancy.com and is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors, partners, and applicants who interact with the site. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
- Internship applications. When you apply via /work-with-us, we collect your name, email, mobile number, area of interest, covering letter, and the CV file you upload.
- Anti-spam verification. To prevent automated abuse of forms, we record the time you began filling the form and the answer you provide to a simple verification question. No personally identifiable behavioural data is logged.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are retained for a maximum of 90 days.
- No tracking cookies today. The site currently does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other behavioural tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified at point-of-collection.
2. How we use it
- To evaluate and respond to internship applications.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To respond to enquiries you initiate (e.g. by emailing us).
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data retention
Internship applications are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless an active engagement is in progress. Server logs are retained for 90 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see §6).
4. Sub-processors and hosting
Our website and content management system are hosted on infrastructure operated by our hosting provider in India. Personal data submitted through our forms is stored on our managed database servers. We use Google Search Console for SEO monitoring (Google has access to aggregated indexing data, not your form submissions).
5. Security
We protect all transmissions with TLS (HTTPS). Form submissions are protected by an HMAC-signed captcha and honeypot to deter automated abuse. Administrative access to the content management system is restricted to authenticated staff over an encrypted channel.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Contact us at contact@indevconsultancy.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We recommend checking back periodically.
