Project overview
The project supports the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in strengthening adolescent health service delivery and programme monitoring under RKSK. The support includes development and maintenance of digital solutions such as the AFHC Mobile Application and RKSK Monitoring Portal to improve reporting, service tracking, data visibility, and evidence-based decision-making. The project also focuses on building the capacities of counsellors, healthcare providers, and programme managers at national, state, and district levels to ensure effective programme implementation and adoption of digital systems. Through continuous stakeholder engagement with MoHFW, WHO, state governments, and district officials, the project facilitates coordinated programme management, monitoring, and performance improvement across the country.
Scope of work
The assignment encompasses end-to-end technical and programmatic support for implementation and monitoring of RKSK. This includes development, enhancement, maintenance, and user support for the AFHC Mobile Application and RKSK Monitoring Portal, ensuring availability of reliable digital systems for programme monitoring and reporting. The project team supports data management, analytics, dashboarding, and generation of programme insights to strengthen evidence-based decision-making. Capacity-building activities are undertaken for counsellors, healthcare providers, district nodal officers, state nodal officers, and other stakeholders through trainings, orientations, refresher sessions, and ongoing handholding support to promote effective use of programme tools and adherence to implementation guidelines. The assignment further includes stakeholder coordination and engagement with MoHFW, WHO, state health departments, and district administrations to facilitate programme reviews, consultations, issue resolution, and implementation support. Regular monitoring, documentation, reporting, and dissemination of programme progress, best practices, and key learnings are undertaken to support informed decision-making and continuous programme improvement.
